On behalf of 55,000 firefighters the FBU supports the continuing campaign to secure peace with justice for the Palestinian People.
This must include a secure
national homeland with full self government.
The FBU will continue to work for the Palestinian cause which in our view is the only way of providing for the security of both the Palestinian and Israeli people.
We
will redouble our efforts within the British Labour Movement to put international pressure on the Israeli Government to recognise the justice of the Palestinian demand for land and sovereignty, and to abide by long established
United Nations Resolutions designed to facilitate this outcome.
